Abstract

Technology is the result of a knowledge creation process and, at the same time, its use allows new knowledge to be generated. Hence, knowing how it was obtained; who participated in its obtaining, development and implementation; how it works or operates, are important aspects for knowledge management but it is also important to know the results that have been obtained with it. This paper presents a technological management system designed as a subsystem of a knowledge management system. This contribution describes the structure, its components and some tools for its implementation, among which are the inventory template of the technologies, their documents and the records of the activities and results obtained with their exploitation. It was implemented at the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences of the University of Havana. The management of installed nuclear technologies and their added value, as well as the results of their implementation are shown.
