Cuba: four years as ARCAL Communication Focal Point

Abstract

The Cooperation Agreement for the Promotion of Nuclear Science and Technology in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARCAL) is an intergovernmental initiative that promotes peaceful nuclear applications in the region. From 2017 to 2021, Cuba became ARCAL's Communication Focal Point. An overview of the main tasks assumed by the country to promote communication of the agreement is presented, from the celebration of its 35th anniversary to the inclusion of communication in project design, a step forward in the management of the ARCAL program.
